Amish Auction Time Again

Every year the local Amish hold an Auction to help support their schools - so guess what? September 12th will be the date of the 22nd annual Amish School Auction in Clarita, Oklahoma and it is much more than just an auction. You have to get there early - so have your walking shoes on and get there by opening 8a.m. there will be booths full of arts, crafts, antiques, food, quilts to die for, livestock, along with their regular auction rings full of anything you want to raise a hand for!

Hair Bows

I found the cutes ribbon animals for the hair bows i make. I found them Saturday at my local Hancock Fabrics. These are the bows i made; the pink ones are elephants and the brown ones are teddy bears I have lions too i just haven't made them up yet.

Pillowcase Dress

Here is my latest creation; it is a pillowcase dress. Just like the name says this started out as any regular pillowcase; but once you cut the arm holes and make a casing for the ribbon at the top you are pretty much done just add the ribbon decoration to the bottom and this is what i got.

I decided to start a blog of my different craft adventures and maybe some life lessons along the way. I hope to have my first blog up soon; I am looking forward to trying to make my very first pillowcase dress this weekend.
